Article Withdrawal
If you need to withdraw a manuscript that has already been submitted to Dhaara Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (DJPS) — whether it is awaiting editorial screening, under peer review, or has been accepted — you must complete and submit the Article Withdrawal Request Form below. Withdrawal is not automatic: every request is reviewed by the Editorial Office before it takes effect.
When to use this form
Use this form for any manuscript already in our system, for reasons such as:
- Submitted to the wrong journal, or a duplicate submission/publication
- A serious scientific, methodological, statistical or ethical concern has come to light
- An authorship dispute, institutional request, or funding issue
- Plagiarism identified after submission, or patent/IP protection needs
- Personal reasons, or any other reason not listed above
If your manuscript has not yet been submitted, you do not need this form — simply do not complete the submission.
Before you request a withdrawal
- The form must be completed and signed by the Corresponding Author and every Co-author. Requests reflecting a dispute among authors will not be processed until it is resolved.
- Withdrawal requests are subject to editorial approval, not automatic upon submission of this form.
- The Editorial Office may contact you for clarification or additional documentation before a decision is made.
- If your manuscript is already accepted or published online, withdrawal is handled in line with recognised publication ethics (COPE) principles and may take longer to resolve.
How to fill out the form
The form is a fillable Word document (.docx) with nine sections:
- Section A – Manuscript Information. Title, article type, date of submission, and current manuscript status.
- Section B – Corresponding/Author Information. Name, affiliation, department, institution, country, email, mobile number and ORCID iD.
- Section C – Reason for Withdrawal. Tick every reason that applies.
- Section D – Author Declaration. Confirms all authors approve the request and accept responsibility for it.
- Section E – Ethical Declaration. Confirms the request is voluntary and not intended to avoid peer review.
- Section F – Future Submission Declaration. Whether you intend to submit the manuscript elsewhere.
- Section G – Funding. Funding agency and grant number, if applicable.
- Section H – Author Signatures. Every author listed must sign and date the form.
- Section I is reserved for the Editorial Office and should be left blank.
How to submit the completed form
Once the form is completed and signed by all authors, email it as an attachment to the Editorial Office at editor@dhaaraclinicalservices.com, quoting your manuscript title and submission ID if you have one. If your manuscript is still in the review pipeline, you may instead attach the completed form via the "message to the editor" option on your author dashboard.
You will receive confirmation once the Editorial Office has reviewed your request.
