Licence
All articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, which permits unrestricted use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are credited.
Author Rights
- Retain copyright and full publishing rights without restriction.
- Share and archive the published version in any repository.
- Reuse the work in future publications with proper citation.
By submitting, authors grant the journal the right of first publication.
Copyright Transfer Form
To formalise this, every manuscript submitted to DJPS must be accompanied by a completed and signed Copyright Transfer, Author Declaration & Conflict of Interest Form. It does two things at once: it grants DJPS the licence to publish described above, and it is the formal declaration by every author that the work is original, properly cited, and free of plagiarism, undisclosed AI-generated content, or ethical concerns.
When to submit this form. Complete and sign the form at the time you submit your manuscript — every listed author must sign, not the corresponding author alone. A submission without this form is incomplete and will not proceed to editorial screening.
What you are declaring. By signing, all authors confirm:
- The manuscript is original and is not published or under consideration elsewhere
- All sources are properly cited, and no content has been copied from other articles without attribution
- There is no fabrication, falsification or plagiarism (a plagiarism/similarity declaration)
- Necessary permissions have been obtained for any copyrighted material used
- Ethics approvals have been obtained where applicable
- Every listed author has contributed to and approved the manuscript
- Any use of AI assistance is disclosed, with no undeclared AI-generated images or data
- Conflicts of interest, funding sources and data availability are declared
- Upon acceptance, publication rights are transferred to DJPS, while authors retain non-commercial scholarly use of their own work with citation
How to fill out the form. The form is a fillable PDF with the following sections:
- Manuscript Information. Title, manuscript ID (if already assigned) and article type.
- Corresponding Author Details. Name, affiliation, department, institution, city, state, country, postal code, email, mobile number and ORCID iD.
- Co-author Details. Name, affiliation, email and ORCID iD for every co-author.
- Author Declaration. Tick every item that applies — originality, citations, permissions, ethics, conflict of interest, funding, data availability, AI disclosure and plagiarism declaration.
- Author Contribution. A short note of what each author contributed to the work.
- Signatures. Every author listed must sign and date the form.
The Editorial Office Use section at the end is for internal use only — leave it blank.
How to submit the completed form. Attach the signed form as a supplementary file when you upload your manuscript files during submission. If you have already submitted and need to send it separately, email the signed form to the Editorial Office at editor@dhaaraclinicalservices.com, quoting your manuscript title and ID.
